When I listen kpop songs I found so many wrong doings in production and its true for popular groups too but I have never encountered that in BP. part of it would be because they could connect to their international fans more as 3 of 4 members are fluent in English (+ Jisoo can understand it afaik). They have a similar edge, same number of members with comparable roles, their songs easily sound like they could have been 2NE1 songs, and (as mentioned elsewhere in the comments) they are already with YGE.
