guardrailjim. I did the petcock mod(660) changed stock main jet from a 125 ,found a 145 mikuni main jet and put in there and changed pilot to.. These are soo chocked cause of epa, no wonder they run at all. Could be a vent problem with the gas tank.
also re-jetted to the recommended 135 main for the pipe and it sits and idles every time. PIPE on it with a twin air, air filter. should i pull side case to look at starter clutch gear ? It has a 4X2 driveline. I cleaned the gas out, removed the carb, cleaned everything especially the pilot/slow jet circuit. Long story: 2000 Suzuki DRZ400Y. The hole for the choke is larger, therefore the fuel can still get through it. As soon as I raise the idle to anywhere betwen 1250 and 1500 the hanging idle is back.
