And I have 140,000 miles on it right now, and these issues started at about the 90,000 mile mark. I also have an 06 and it’s getting its second AC system put in as we speak. My guess is that since it isn’t something like an airbag or brake issue, Honda did not want to pay for these repairs due to AC being an inconvenience if it isnt working. Hi Alexander, I have CR_V 2009 and last May 2016 my AC compressor Clutch was replaced by the Honda dealer here in Vegas and was charged a soaring amount. The only..and proper repair in Black Death is complete replacement of all components and that includes the evaporator located inside the car along with the heater core. I have a 2003 Honda Odyssey I’m having problems with my AC now I’ve changed the compressor with a brand new one however still having problems now they say is something with a computer module AC PCM I need help. One is telling me it going to cost $125 plus collant to look at the car only, the next is telling me that my call does quaifty for the recall but only if its under 100k. Please note: Top Class Actions is not a settlement In 2011 I could still drive the car just without air of course…Now 10-2015 it is melting the serpentine belt…I replaced the serpentine belt (not knowing what the issue really is) The compressor overheats & the design of the Honda it is to close & no protection, not only from road debris that damages the air conditioning system…so once the system is damaged or faulty it causes damage to the car its self.
