The trailer is very comfortable and I love being able to get to the bathroom even when the slide out is in. Had the cables repaired as best as possible for $1,100 but repair service said brackets may not hold up as they are not strongly mounted. The floor plan on this camper works awesome. It's extremely easy to tow with a 3/4 ton truck, but your F150 can pull it as well, the mountain passes will be a little slow though. Knowing of someone buying a camper right now, talk to us 1st prior to buying from Travers in O'Fallon. This despite proper operation and service. But the biggest problem was a water that came in through the slide when it was closed and flooded the coach. We have put about 20,000 miles and six months worth of nights in it. But now, 3 yrs old, the slide seals have split and the slide cable assemblies are damaged as the cables twisted and brackets have come loose and bent. The trailer had no issues. I purchased the wilderness 2475BH 3 weeks ago brand new. I bought it NEW from dealer, 6 attempts to get the problem fixed, 4 of those attempts resulted in repairs being made, which have all failed. We bought our unit at Vaughan's RV in Indianola ia. We have had a few problems, mostly minor. All other issues we had with the trailer they fixed promptly. It's pretty sad to me a brand new trailer is having these issues 3 weeks old and in for repairs. We did put a memory foam pad on top of the regular mattress. The replacement part was $75. What is a Heartland WILDERNESS? We replaced the mattress immediately. We will be replacing the microwave next as well as a single sink. I also rewired the antenna switch to feed the FM radio as well as the TV. 2017 Heartland Wilderness (NON SMOKING UNIT) Wilderness is a full featured travel trailer in a smaller, lighter package. Over all this camper has exceeded our expectations, such a nice layout for us and grandkids are hooked on camping with us witch is priceless .
