";s:4:"text";s:23675:"Zion National Park a beautiful national park in southern Utah. Each period is characterized by distinctive technological and social adaptations. Other often-used backcountry trails include the West Rim and LaVerkin Creek. Numerous plant species as well as 289 species of birds, 75 mammals (including 19 species of bat), and 32 reptiles inhabit the park's four life zones: desert, riparian, woodland, and coniferous forest. Zion shares a similar geologic background as the nearby Bryce Canyon (~50 miles to the northeast) and Grand Canyon (~90 miles to the southeast) National Parks. Taking the main road that leads thru the park will take you up and over the mountains with some incredible vistas to take in.
