She said this shield cut down the wind considerably. I would buy again and can only recommend! My local dealer has a set of lower adjustable defectors coming in this week for me to try. Very impressed with the fit and finish of the Freedom Shield. Also, it was too in your face being closer to me. As well the price of your windshield is about half of the price of the Harley product and it performs so much better. I ran across several websites that sold after market shields including www.freedomshields.net.                                                  Then I removed the shield and stripped off the plastic film, re-installed the windshield and I am in love! The noise, turbulence, & buffeting was the worst of any of the shields we had tried.                                               Great idea and rarely seen. The polished edges stand out and the heavy shrink wrapped plastic allowed me to handle the shield, TEST RIDE the shield (as advertised) without being concerned of nicks and scratches, and let me make an unrushed opinion as to wanting to keep it or not. The shield did not exhibit any handling issues.                                                  The Freedom Shield is thicker, and with the polished edge a much better looking product. If you are not completely satisfied with the height or performance of the windshield, you may return the windshield for a different size or for full credit (less any shipping charges) as long as the windshield is like new and the protective plastic film has not been removed.
