With nine distilleries, whisky is the beating heart of Islay, but the islandâs culinary scene is now shifting into the spotlight; and rightly so. On a recent holiday to Islay we visited several distilleries. I am an artist and print maker living on the Isle of Islay, the Southern most island of the Hebrides in Scotland.
