Brine falls from the north and south flow into the brine here, which contains some ghost trees and roots. A small area in Lost River biome, centered around the Great Cove Tree. There is a suitable pathway through to the losr river, as you navigate past the forgotten habitat. The Tree Cove is a large cavern within the Lost River. The caves in the brine and ceiling contain a unique, unnamed kind of coral. 	 	 The Mountains Corridor is to the east, where the Disease Research Facility is found. The Lost River is a frigid, generally gloomy and foggy biome, possessing a distinct greenish tint in the water that is mostly illuminated by the alkaline brine pools, as well as an eerie atmosphere with the occasional Ghostray wails.   The Junction connects to the Bones Fields to the south, the Ghost Forest to the north, and the Tree Cove to the west. Here you can harvest Limestone Outcrop. 	  The Disease Research Facility is a destroyed Alien Base located in a cave that can be accessed from the Lost River Junction and the Mountains Corridor. This skeleton belonging to a presumably extinct Leviathan Class Organism is found outside the Lost River Laboratory Cache surrounded by scanners and cables. I dont know which way to head (it gets more and more frustrating as I stare at the map) and I dont know where in the lost river I should be building it. Check our Subnautica Map out now for more information!  The cavern is greatly populated by whitish glowing flora on the sea floor, as well as the snaking dark branches of bioluminescent Ghost Trees. The only creatures inhabiting this location are Ghostrays. The Cyclops is able to enter the Lost River through all four, and traverse the whole way into the Inactive Lava Zone. Depth Range Follow the Lost River Achievement in Subnautica: Find the Disease Research Facility. Welcome to another episode of Subnautica. Fauna and flora found within the Lost River are immune to the brine, a trait carried only by them. The Lost River Corridor is the area connecting the Bone Fields to the Blood Kelp Trench. The hostile creatures you find are mostly River Prowlers, but the Corridor also contains Crabsquids. Its database will contain information on the origin of Warpers. It is close to the juvenile Ghost Leviathan.  I personally use the deep grand reef. The thing that distinguishes the sections is the danger level of each of them. You won't find any near the skeleton.  An Alien Arch Cache is present in this area, serving as a warp gate to the Primary Containment Facility. However, the color of the brine is a bright blue, rather than the corrosive green of the other sections of the Lost River. Lost River Lost River is a Biome in Subnautica. The Lost River is one of the coldest biomes implemented, with temperatures on the sea floor rarely rising above 10 degrees Celsius. It appears to be some sort of huge, carnivorous life form. This article contains unmarked spoilers. Most of the Large Resource Deposits can be found under the brine, with the exception of Lead, Quartz and Titanium that surround the pools along with Limestone Outcrops and rarely Uraninite Crystals. The entrance from Blood Kelp Caves is the only guarded entrance to the location, but by a Ghost Leviathan of all things. It is connected to the Blood Kelp Trench via the Lost River Corridor, and to the Deep Grand Reef via the Ghost Canyon, each of them having their own flora and particular landscapes. Rarer deposits can be found in the Bone Fields Caves in the ceiling, others around the cavern and deeper caverns under the brine. Built around one thousand years ago, sometime before the imprisonment of the Sea Emperor Leviathan, the main purpose of this Disease Research Facility was to infect creatures with the Kharaa Bacterium to study their reaction to the disease.  Each of them features a similar set of resources, including limestone, sandstone, shale, quartz, ruby, and Nickel. The ghost leviathan! The Mountains Corridor is a large tunnel leading from the Disease Research Facility cave to the Mountains and the Bulb Zone.    The blue brine does not damage the player. To enable it press F3.This will open up a sub-menu. At the top of the plateau are several hydrothermal vents, with some Green Table Coral and Rubies scattered around them. 	 The Ghost Canyon is a large passage featuring multiple caves and tunnels branching out from one huge "canyon". There are a few hydrothermal vents on this area. Given the intact nature of the bones, one possibility is that the Lost River represents a natural tunnel syst… Terrain scans indicate this biome contains unusually high concentrations of organic and fossilized remains. The small portion connecting this area with the Bone Fields contains only Crystalline Sulfur under the brine, however. These brine pools cover almost all of the lower portions of the caverns.
